Exhibition opening—Infrastructure: power, politics and imagination
Exhibition opening
5.30pm 19 April 2024
Te Pātaka Toi Adam Art Gallery warmly invites you to join us from 5.30pm on Friday 19 April to celebrate the opening of our autumn exhibition.
‘Infrastructure: power, politics and imagination’ consists of three discrete projects by Matthew Galloway, Doris Lusk and Raúl Ortega Ayala. By bringing these projects together this new exhibition examines the power at play behind large infrastructural projects and considers the way we might imagine our futures by understanding the recent past.
With thanks to Brian Turner, Massey University Te Kunenga Ki Pūrehuroa, Patrick Holland and the estate of Doris Lusk, Grant Banbury, Mark Hornby, the Fletcher Trust Collection, Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū and the private lenders of works to this exhibition.
Refreshments are provided with grateful thanks to our sponsors, wine by Ngā Waka and Stoke beer by McCashin's Brewery.
